The Love Byrd

I am a sucker for unique stationary, invitations and fonts.

I think they can make an upscale event even more classy, a thank you note even more meaningful and a wedding even more personalized.

My sweet friend, Emily, is the "Byrd" behind The Love Byrd Letters- a handwritten calligraphy service. To say she is good at what she does would not be giving her enough credit. She is truly blessed at producing gorgeous, unique and original lettering.

Not only is she super talented- she's sweet as can be and would be a doll to work with for your upcoming event!

Check her out here at The Love Byrd Letters.

Gorgeous!

Three Years

Happy Third Anniversary to my adventurous, loving and dedicated hubby!

When I look back on the last three years of marriage, the first word that comes to mind is FUN! It started with a fun-filled night of dancing with our friends and family at our wedding and has continued every day since. What a wonderful life we lead!

Since I didn't venture into the blog-world until after our big day, I wanted to feature a few of my favorite things (besides our amazing family and friends!) from our big day.

Our version of the guest book. Monogrammed cards for guests to write their well wishes and advice for us! We love going back and reading through these frequently!

Crayons and Activity books for the kiddos!

Our wedding invitations were "pocket style" and so we carried that over into our programs.

Easily my favorite thing! Welcomed guests into the reception.

Simply and sparkly cake. Our florist made the mini "E" cake topper, too.

A wii to entertain the non-dancers.

And of course- my sweet, sweet groom.

Cheers to continuing the fun for many, many more years!

I wish we could have another wedding...same bride and groom,
Laura

A Monday List

1. I can't express how glad I am that I got married before Pinterest was a hit. With things like this to inspire me, I would've gone DIY crazy.

I have to say, this is pretty cool

2. The other day my students asked me to put on some music while they were painting their spelling words. "Baby" by Justin Bieber was up on AOL Radio and it turned into a quiet chorus of singing and painting...including the breakdown by Ludacris. I'm in love with them.

3. We are under contract on a house! Woo hoo! First time home-buyers, here. Any advice? Best place you know to buy paint? Lighting? I'll take any advice you have.

4. When we moved from Dallas to Denver and left Yumi-Licious fro-yo behind, I took a break from the amazing treat. We reunited last week at Yogurt Land in Denver and I have a feeling it is all downhill from here. How is it so good?

5. In addition to the fro-yo reunion, I also baked these amazing chocolate chip cookies and chocolate cream cheese brownies last week. And went to the gym because of all my indulging. I should spread this out a little bit.

Enjoy your Monday.

Now I can't stop singing Bieber,
